![]() Had the money, but was waiting for my tax return for the rest. Was looking at the 65 Amps Little Elvis or Mesa MarkV pretty seriously. I was planning on spluring and getting a nice amp. But Guitar Center (ack) has that 30-day return policy, so it would be like an extended try out. It would have to replace my G&L ASAT, and I'm not sure how I'd get along with the short scale on the Jag. I got the GAS the other day for the new Johnny Marr Jaguar as well. It's impossible to find Duo Jets, especially the double cutaway one, here in Philly. I don't know if I'll ever actually want 20 watts, so I'm not sure why I lean that way. Don't you also have another Swart? Whenever I think about getting a little 5w Swart I just think it would be better to wait and get the AST with a Nightlight. ![]() ![]() Either of those amps would be a holy grail amp to me. Your amp haul sounds like a brilliant one. So the guy hands me the Due Jet G6128 1962 with the double cutaways, and holy cow it was awesome. I had it plugged into a Blues Jr, which was the closest thing they had to the Vox Night Train I currently own. I went in to look at the Reverend Pete Anderson PA-1, but hated its sound, surprisingly. Santa Monica is a bit more of a dumpy mall than I expected, so I just hid in the guitar shop for hours while fiancée walked around.
